Manager, Product Design

ABOUT US:

We are looking for a Product Design Manager to join our AV Fan Engagement team and help shape engaging digital experiences for sports fans. You will work across a diverse portfolio of sports products and platforms from OTT streaming experiences on Web, Mobile and TV to interactive fan engagement features including sports betting.

THE CHALLENGE:

We are looking for an experienced product designer who combines strategic thinking, design leadership and also supports with hands-on craft if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product Leadership from the earliest ideation phase to shape new concepts and ensure creative excellence throughout the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond.
• Provide creative leadership, mentoring, and coaching to designers fostering a shared creative culture and continuously raising the quality bar. 
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Commercial, Marketing, external development partners, and other Sportradar business units to transform product ideas into compelling user experiences.
• Continuously improve creative processes, collaboration models, and design workflows across distributed teams.
• Stay ahead of trends in sports betting and streaming to continuously evolve our products and creative direction. 
• Explore and apply AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve both product experiences and the way we design.

ABOUT YOU:

• 6+ years of experience in Product / UX / UI Design, ideally working on complex digital products.
• Significant experience designing digital products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, prototyping, and excellent design craft.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching creative professionals in an international and cross-functional environment.
• Passion for sports entertainment, innovation, and creating memorable user experiences.
• The ability to connect design decisions to user needs, product goals and business outcomes.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Curiosity about AI tools and how they are changing product design and the way teams work.

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

Initial Screening - A conversation with our Talent Acquisition Partner to discuss your background, experience, career expectations, and interest in the role.

Team Interview - Meet the team to explore your experience in more depth, discuss your approach to product design and collaboration, and learn more about how we work together.

Design Task - A take-home assignment designed to give you the opportunity to demonstrate your product thinking, design strategy, and hands-on design skills.

Final Interview - An in-depth discussion based on your submitted task, covering your thought process, design decisions, conceptual approach, and leadership experience.

Final Step - We will share feedback with you and, if successful, move forward with an offer.

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
