THE ROLE:

Join the Genius team behind GeniusIQ, our live game tracking technology, and help build a brand-new Game Operations team in Estonia. You’ll help ensure our tracking and event data is accurate and on time, supporting the Game Operations team and leading a group of Operators during live football and basketball games.

A fully remote hourly paid Service Provider position in Game Operations is a great fit if you:

  • Want a flexible side hustle alongside your studies or main job
  • Love sports and want to get your foot in the door of sports tech
  • Are happy with routine tasks and enjoy being part of the live action

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Set up and configure GeniusIQ software for live games
  • Confirm correct tracking of dead balls, stoppage time and similar events
  • Identify and confirm teams, lineups and players
  • Stay alert during live play and report issues to your mentor
  • Complete marking tasks that improve the accuracy of our system
  • Lead a group of Operators on 1-2 football games per task
  • Lead training for newly signed Operators

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Your own setup: a personal laptop or computer (not too old) with at least 512GB storage, and an internet connection of at least 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Around 40-80 hours of tasks per month on average, mostly evenings, weekends and holiday periods, with fewer tasks in the summer (following the sports schedule).
  • General computer literacy, particularly Excel or Google Sheets
  • Football knowledge (any additional sport is a bonus)
  • High attention to detail and the ability to focus in loud, distracting environments
  • Extreme punctuality, as many tasks start near game start time
  • Excellent communication skills, especially under pressure, to update your mentor and give feedback to Operators
  • Ability to make time-sensitive judgment calls and collaborate with remote colleagues during live events
