WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
SUMMARY
This Temporary Coordinator, Fan Events will assist the NHL Events Department with multiple tentpole fan festival events for the 2026-27 NHL Winter Season. This temporary position will begin September 2026 and conclude in February 2027.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assistance with the coordination of event operations include, but not limited to:
- Working directly with venue contacts to fulfill all contractual obligations
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with vendors, suppliers and industry contacts
- Supporting the planning and production of NHL Event Fan Festivals including: Attraction Development, Audio/Visual, Event Decor, F&B, Hospitality and Security
- Working directly with league partners, sponsors and agencies in order to execute on-site activations at NHL Outdoor Games
- Assisting in ensuring appropriate billing arrangements and invoice reconciliation post-event
- Other departmental related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
The ideal candidate possesses the following:

- Ability to share ideas and develop effective responses

Required
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays as well as travel to host event cities
- Must be able and willing to travel within the US and Canada
Education/Certifications
- College Degree required
- At least 1-2 years of experience coordinating public events, preferably in the sports & entertainment industry
Required Skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to lead with a results driven, "can do" attitude with a focus on client service satisfaction
- A positive, energetic attitude
- Willingness to learn, and excited to be part of a close team
- Must be able to exhibit quick thinking, and possesses problem solving skills on the fly

SALARY RANGE:
$25 per hour
Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
