Communications Graduate Assistant, Boston Bruins

Boston Bruins is hiring a seasonal part-time Communications Graduate Assistant to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. • Research and compile statistical information for team media materials, serving as a primary contributor to game notes, game previews, and media guides 
• Monitor media coverage and produce daily clips reports and coverage summaries 
• Support game day media operations for all home games, including setup of media areas, press box operations, credential distribution, line charts, and coordination with broadcast teams 
• Assist with drafting press releases, media advisories, and player bios, while contributing to the design and formatting of media materials 
• Manage day-to-day administration of the media distribution list, including expanding contacts beyond traditional hockey reporters  
• Create and manage the department’s cross-functional calendar 

• Recent college graduate pursuing a career in communications or public relations preferred 
• Familiarity with public relations, marketing, or communications through coursework, internships, or related experience 
• Proficiency in Adobe programs such as InDesign and Photoshop 
• Knowledge of hockey and familiarity working with statistics 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a passion for public relations 
• High level of professionalism and strong organization skills  
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
