Job Description
As a Catering Lounge Attendant, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences for guests attending Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors events.
As a member of the Catering team, you will help create a welcoming and elevated lounge experience through attentive food and beverage service, thoughtful guest interactions, and seamless event-day execution. From preparing the lounge before doors open to anticipating guest needs throughout the event, you will contribute to an environment that is polished, comfortable, and memorable.
This role combines guest service, food and beverage operations, and event-day hospitality. You will work closely with the Catering team to ensure lounges are prepared, products are available, and guests receive timely, personalized service throughout their experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver warm, attentive, and personalized service to guests throughout Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors events.
Create a welcoming and comfortable lounge environment through professional and engaging guest interactions.
Prepare and organize assigned lounge spaces prior to guest arrival, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and event-ready.
Coordinate the pickup and return of designated food items from the kitchen at the beginning and end of each shift.
Deliver food and beverage service while maintaining MLSE's standards of hospitality and guest experience.
Anticipate guest needs and proactively replenish food, beverages, fridges, and service areas throughout the event.
Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
Communicate special food and beverage requests, guest feedback, and service or operational concerns to the Catering Supervisor or Manager on duty.
Complete product requisitions at the end of each shift to support preparation for upcoming events.
Provide responsible alcohol service in accordance with Smart Serve requirements and applicable regulations.
Work collaboratively with Catering colleagues, culinary teams, and event-day partners to support seamless lounge operations.
Represent MLSE with professionalism, warmth, and authenticity in every guest and team interaction.
Adhere to all MLSE service standards, policies, health and safety procedures, and applicable workplace regulations.
Support additional catering and event-day responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
A passion for hospitality, guest service, and creating memorable experiences.
Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage, guest services, restaurants, hotels, live events, or a related customer service environment is considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to engage with a diverse range of guests.
Demonstrated ability to anticipate guest needs and respond thoughtfully in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, professional, and team-oriented with a willingness to support others and contribute wherever needed.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail during busy events.
Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to exercise sound judgment when responding to guest or operational needs.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Valid Smart Serve Certification is required.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based events schedules.
