Football Systems Developer (Software Engineer)

Full-Time / In-Person (this is not a remote opportunity)

General Description

The Baltimore Ravens are seeking a Football Systems Developer to join a collaborative team dedicated to building technology solutions that support our coaches, scouts, and performance staff. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment. While prior football expertise is not required, a genuine passion for the game and a willingness to learn are highly valued.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of internal web applications and tools, working primarily within the Ruby on Rails framework.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, scouts, and coaches to support software solutions used throughout football operations.
• Write and execute SQL queries to support reporting, workflows, and ad hoc data requests.
• Build and maintain clean, user-friendly interfaces for internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements of internal systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• Strong foundation in Git, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to relocate to Baltimore, MD.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000
• Company-paid health insurance, including health and vision. Dental insurance also provided with minimal employee contribution.
• Competitive 401(k)
