Job Summary:
The A/V Technician is responsible for supporting the Live Production department in the setup, operation, mixing, troubleshooting, and teardown of A/V equipment for a wide variety of events at State Farm Arena. This role primarily supports Atlanta Hawks NBA home games, while also providing technical support for concerts, live entertainment, and other arena events as needed. Additional responsibilities include supporting College Park Skyhawks (NBA G League) home games, as well as hospitality, corporate, and community events both inside and outside the arena.
Key Responsibilities:
Audio signal flow to/from control room to arena bowl & clubs
Set-up & operate audio for 1-5 person speaking panel
Audio Mixing for events
Hook up laptop to LED screens in meeting spaces
IPTV support and QC for events
Control room operation (A1 mix, A2 assist, intercom support)
*And any other job duties assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Two years of control room experience
